Our latest bundle of pink arrived on Feb 3rd, at 9:26 am - Madilyn Maxine weighs in at 6lbs 15 oz and is 20 3/4 inches long! She was born via c-section. I would post pictures, but she is crying for me! Hopefully by the time she is 1, I will have some posted!

Today is a date that I thought needed a post because this marks the 2 year anniversary of the date Amelia came home from the hospital. I can't believe it has really been 2 years! I absolutely love that I did this blog to be able to go back and look at this day two years ago. I just read it out loud to Mike and reminded him how crazy we were and didn't sleep all at once and took shifts because we were so worried she would stop breathing. All of the feelings and emotions of her coming home are etched in my memory. I think there are maybe only a few days that you remember what the weather was like on a certain day. My wedding day was one, and day Amelia was born was another, and the day she came home from the hospital and well...I think her 1st birthday might be in there too.

I can't believe how much life has changed in two years and how normal things seem to be. We don't stress out over how much she is eating anymore, which by the way, has really gotten MUCH better! Chicken nuggets seem to be her favorite choice for food. She loves cheddar cheese, loves popcorn and loves her ice cream sandwiches. Breakfast she likes pancakes, but second fav is cheerios with milk.

Amelia's little sister is doing great! I passed 27 weeks two weeks ago and it was a very nerve racking day, but she is already bigger than Amelia was at this same time, passing her up by 1 ounce at 2.2 lbs. I have been trying to remember what it is like to have a newborn again! The blog is jogging my memory VERY clearly back to the early days of cleaning up spit up and sleepless nights. I just really hope and pray this baby stays in there. This Friday is 29 weeks and next week Friday is 30 weeks, when Amelia was born. And eerie enough, December 3rd was Amelia's original due date. Okay, maybe it is just eerie to me, but I think it is not just a coincidence. I go for ultrasounds every two weeks and doctors appts every two weeks, so I am being watched very closely. It helps reduce my anxiety because I get to see that she is actually growing! I LOVE IT!

With Thanksgiving tomorrow, I can't even begin to list all of the things I am thankful for this year. I have so many blessing in life but having another little girl on the way and a HEALTHY Amelia and a husband I love, they are all at the very top of my list. We are heading over Auntie Rebecca's and Uncle Austin's house with all of our family to celebrate!
